What is Race Services?
We're an organization of volunteers committed to promoting the cause of road racing enthusiasts, and promoting Watkins Glen International as a leader in road racing.
We make up the safety team, providing fire-rescue support, flagging and communications, course marshals, grid, pit, and paddock marshals, worker support, start/finish, etc.
What are the benefits??

| On Saturday, June 8th, there will be a social gathering in the pavilion in the campground at the end of the day. Steve Ely will be there for an informal Q & A session.

As stated in the most recent RSI newsletter, there will be an election for the position of Alternate Director (to fill the position vacated by Lynn Fantini) at the regular monthly meeting on Saturday, June 15th, at the end of the day.

As I am sure a few of you are aware, Nancy Shafer, Brett's wife, passed unexpectedly on Friday, May 31st. Below is the obituary. Let's rally together and support Brett and the family in their time of need. In short, here are details:
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Hinman will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to COPD Foundation, 2937 SW 27th Ave., Suite 302, Miami, FL 33133.

Michael Printup, President of WGI, has requested that all RSI members review and sign the social networking policy document and return the signed copy to a Board member.
